How to increase sales? It’s the question every sales leader has asked for decades.
The most common solution to this problem is: It’s obvious! Hire more salespeople!
Evidence suggests that more “feet on the street” equates to more sales opportunities and therefore more sales.
However, this isn’t as simple as it seems. New salespeople come with the costs associated with recruiting, on-boarding, providing company-specific product or service training, and the all-important training on your company’s sales methodology and process (hopefully this last point exists in your organisation)!
